Still grinding away BH unsure what template to go with. Currently BH 3044, Pistols 0041, Brawler 0400, Scout 4000, Medic 1140.
As you can see I'm at the point where I need to make a decision. These are the following builds I have come up with. And advice
or comments are welcome as are any addition template reccommendations. I am also curious about how many BH's hunt together and the
receptiveness of some of these builds to other BH's/Guilds. Also I should say that I am aware of the MBH hidden bonuses, even though I don't know the exact value/s. I am assuming that Melee Mitigation works against Jedi too though?

MBH
Scout 4400
Pistols 0041
Medic 0030
Novice Brawler

The most solid build I could come up with. Lack of Melee Mitigation 2 is the only downside I could think of bar the Fencer defenses on top of the Pistol's.

BH 4000
Scout 4000
Commando 0040
Fencer 0440
Medic 1030

Lack of traps, Fast Blast with the Flamer and lack of damage types are downsides.

MBH
Scout 4400
Commando 0040
Medic 0010

No state defences. But Flamer with Fast Blast and Traps is appealing.

BH 4000
Scout 4000
Commando 0400
Fencer 0440
Medic 1030

Same as above and curious how good heavy weapons would be against Jedi. Accuracy etc.

BH 3040
Scout 4000
Pistols 0041
Fencer 0440
Medic 0030

I love this build, but lack of damage and traps hinders it. Great state defenses.
And with a decent enough pistol I like the idea of it even more. Plus you could go just Novice Medic and add in Fencer 2440 for PvE.
Lack of traps though.

BH 4000
Scout 4000
Master Fencer
Medic 1040

Lack of traps again. Though you get Melee Mitigation 3. Lack of damage would be biggest problem here I guess.
If you could stay alive long enough though, wondering if you could wound the Jedi enough with One Handed Health Hit 2?

BH 3040
Scout 4000
Combat Medic 4004

I know, I know. Again I love the idea, support in BH group would be nice though.

Thanks.

This may help ( probably best to wait for pub 9 hitting test centre before final build)...

I can tell you a few hints about whats coming with Pub9, then I won't elaborate anymore. I have to rely on our small dev staff to follow through and demands vs time. Some requests are impossible to achieve for a emu server in the time frame some people want it to occur in.

#1 The FRS is coming
#2 Full on Village/Paddy Trials for new FS
#3 Lightsabers will be tuned up a bit
#4 Different armors/outfits may have some resists tweaked or added.
#5 Traps will be toned down and made available at different ranks in BH. They were meant to be a tool in a arsenal, not an iWin button. Just don't plan on being X/X/X/X and freezing people in place. Some traps will still only happen at Mastery level.

Although i cant discuss builds with you, what i will say is you are on the right track with one exception.
There is a misconception about LS resists in the master box,I don't want to spoil the mystery of it but it is not there the moment you obtain MBH,Think of it as a gateway to LS resists.
Anything else you are told about it is merely jedi propaganda and should be ignored.

Again the template you use is dependent on how you wish to play. support BH classes are fun but i wouldn't want to be alone or cornered with some of them, however that being said a good support class can totally turn the tide if used effectively.

Despite claims to the contrary jedi are tougher here then in live, you do have a couple of equalisers but they are very skill point prohibitive and will make any other template options limited.
Fastblast and traps are powerful tools but if you bowl straight in thinking they are an automatic "i win button" a good jedi will show you your lack of foresight.

As for guilds there is only one of mention and that is <BH> the majority of the top tier hunters are there.
There are a few very good independent hunters as well and they do,depending on the ebb and flow of the underworld, work together.

I wouldn't advise waiting, the time to hunt is now!,you should be pressing the boot of justice firmly against the neck of the jedi.
Your failures and multipile deaths will bring you victories in the long term and will give you a greater understanding and the ability to adapt and adapt you must,as things always change.

Good luck out there.

I seen the flamethrower used in a jedi fight and looks like alot of fun. I use the LLC, it's viable in all situations. MBH , 0040 commando, 44xx scout would be the strongest to support the flamethrower. Be warned, master healers will be the toughest opponent to face because they heal fire Dots.

Pub9 will change things and all will have to adapt to suceed. I would get into the hunt as soon as possible. Don't be afraid to lose. Failure is the best lesson. Different jedi templates require different tactics. MBH is very versatile and can deal with all situations. Carbs and pistols are very useful. I use all weapons. Intimidate and warcry help you survive. Use them strategically.
