Respec?

I was hoping for a Pub 9 respec but couldn't find anything about it on the forum so posted here. Anyone hear anything?

And for the trolls: no; I don't see massive changes that make a respec all that necessary.

No respec. I hope they are saving it for a big Jedi change in the future.

Yes I was surprised by the lack of a respec. You added the new FRS System and changed Bh/Jedi encounters with traps but cannot change your template easily. The lessended max negative xp is a bone thrown but still surprised since a few fundamental aspects of gameplay were changed.

There were no drastic changes that warranted granting a respec. We are still dealing with players that were broken following our last major update. The FRS, trap changes, and the change to negative experience are all in favor of the jedi. There will likely be more changes coming for one side or the other, and probably to other professions as well. You can't expect a do-over following every change to characters those changes affect.

Ha---you didn't grind up a MPowers Jedi thinking there would be a respec when Pub 9 came out!

So yeah; I'm hosed and gonna take a break for a while. But I totally concur with what you said.

We are not responsible for how you chose to spend your skill points, nor are we obligated to grant you a template of your choosing because it doesn't live up to what you hoped it would be. Additionally, you have absolutely no idea what I have/haven't done with my play characters, though I can tell you that it is not as much as I would like sometimes. You see... some of spend a lot of our free time working on this game and assisting players. Maybe when we have someone on staff willing to dedicate their own personal time to fixing broken respecs we may reconsider our position.

Sorry I missed this earlier. Yeah; I was arrantly kidding, blaming myself, and not impugning your work ethic. But let me express my gratitude for your reply and apologies for such confusion. Community interaction like this is critical since it forespeaks so much.
