I have been playing on SWGemu and got interested in Awakening for various reasons. However, upon reading on the forums I am getting the impression that Jedi may be underpowered. Am I wrong in getting this impression?

Are Jedi unable to take on 15+ people at a time like on Basilisk? Are Bounty Hunters essentially stomping Jedi left and right?

They are stronger then basilisk jedi ,anyone that dies to a jedi on basilisk is doing it wrong.That being said due to jedi being a bit stronger here the fastblast ability was opened up to include a few more weapons then just pistols.

You're kidding right? I'd love to see the video of a Basilisk jedi taking on 15+ considering the abundance of ADK'd PSGs and DOT weapons. But, no, jedi are not weak here and should be able to handle at least a couple of bounty hunters depending on template and skills. The only jedi "stomping" that occurs here is when a fresh young padawan gets termed or the more dedicated bounty hunters of Awakening team up to hunt bigger game.

I must not have fought the right bounty hunters here....While only one hunter has ever killed me (and that was because I agreed to duel him) I have also not really killed any. Although my encounters with hunters were usually with the exceptionally skilled ones with top quality weapons; or I was ganged up on by at least three of them. But I am also a Master Healer, designed for group pvp healing, so I didn't really like fighting by myself. I stayed fit by running through the mountains on many planets.
