Only one droid out at a time with MasterDE

I seem to remember back in the day (perhaps post-NGE) that a Master DE could have more than 1 droid out at one time. The formation commands were there for a reason and I do remember using them. I sort of sucks if a Master DE has no better ability to use droids than any other profession.

Just now thinking about it... I had a Probot out and brought out a bomb droid on my BH not too long ago.

That sounds like NGE. I was a pre-cu MDE (MCH) on Starsider and most often went around with my power droid as a mobile recharge station. I have no memory of ever being able to have more than one droid out at a time. I could, however, have the droid and 3 pets out.

Post-NGE My Wife and I used to take the crafters and Entertainers out doing Legacy missions.. everyone could 'friend' the Droids to one person, who would then issue the column or wedge and attack commands. Made Legacy Line very Do-able as a non-combatant class
