Hey guys, small suggestion. Since the update that made FR2 a 50% damage reduction instead of 90%(?) has caused the bug of the damage reduction continuing after FR2 ends; could you just rollback that update and remove the code that caused that? I'm betting I'm not alone in preferring to get the original damage reduction in exchange for never getting bugged with the reduction stuck on my character.
Please consider this, it would be a great quality of life bandaid fix until the real bug can be resolved.

I agree...that bug has been the main reason I have stayed away from trying any build that uses the fr2.

I would like to clarify a few things and hopefully shed some light around this issue. When that change was rolled out, it was rolled out with other items that had to be fixed and/or addressed. Everyone probably won't believe the amount of time spent on TC with staff and a select few volunteers who have helped to try to recreate this issue. We've spent entire weekends along with hours and hours trying to identify this cause. We have tried every suggestion mentioned, with zero results. Ideally what we are trying to identify is a way to duplicate it 100% of the time. A perfect example would be if you get a bleed while FR2 is active you are now bugged - Something like that will tell us exactly what is causing the issue and a fix can be implemented.
With that being said, expect to start seeing tweaks after reset. What we need from all of you is your feedback. Basically, tell me if this happens, and we will attempt another change. A discord message or a PM to me is fine, I will partner with the dev team on next steps.
As always, feel free to test it for yourselves, maybe someone finds something that was missed.

We applied a change this morning setting the damage modifier on FR2 back to the default setting. As Shepherd pointed out, we have been unable to reproduce the bug in testing which means that any fix we attempt is just a guess and cannot be certain this will resolve the issue. Because we aren't sure we need to be informed if anyone is affected by this again after today. If it never surfaces again we can probably assume that the modifier was the cause but it is important for us to know if we need to continue looking.

I haven't seen the return of the permanent damage reduction since the update. Appears returning the string for force run 2 to default may have fixed issue. Still trying to cause bug. If I get time tonight, gonna force run everywhere. Anyone been bugged since patch?

I haven't been able to recreate the bug either since the patch. Still messing with it when I get time. So far so good though.
