Of late, there seems to be something going on with crafting stations. I realize that there is some kind of snag regarding the crafting of a (+45) station. The alternative is going for the top number using only minerals (+15). Somehow, within the last month or so, I am unable to craft a (+15) station. I have been using SEPY Copper (CD1000), that's 100%, and have crates of (+15) crafting stations at my store. Now, I can't get higher than a (+14.63) unit, using the same resource. Nothing seems to work in yielding a higher number; Not with food or drink; Not using my (+44.11) crafting station or crafting droid; Not dressed in clothing with (+25 Artisan Assembly/Experimentation CAs or in my underwear; Not in a private structure or a public space. Wasted resources trying to replicate something I'd already mastered. I can understand the issue with achieving a (+45) crafting station, but, these post-publish crafting gremlins are just sucking the wind out of my sails. If there are any other Architects experiencing these problems (regarding Crafting Stations), please voice in. If not, I'd appreciate if another of the profession would go over details of their crafting procedure. Perhaps, it is something that's changed; or perhaps it's something in basic crafting procedures I am overlooking, as of late.

Hi Fricray,
Coming from a staff standpoint, we haven't touched any code that would affect this at all. Sorry to hear about your issue, but since the code hasn't changed, it's most likely one of those decimal points affected by RNG that aren't playing ball with you. It could also be a hidden decimal point elsewhere in components or other tools, etc... Hopefully you can nail down the issue. Just be reassured it isn't something we've caused on our end.
Also, in future make sure to open a new topic, not post on an unrelated one. Thanks
I have moved this discussion to its own topic entry and picked up from its former permutation.
I appreciate your response to my previous dilemma. However, I am convinced now that this is a some type of bug. Prior to posting my situation, I spent about two hours trying to craft a perfect base (+15) to which (3) perfectly built additional options can be added -- leading to a perfect (+45) Crafting Station. My results fell short every time, under every condition I laid out in my prior "unrelated" post in the Architect forum. As you know, achieving a perfect base unit (+15) depends solely only on the conductivity value of the mineral resource used which in this case was SEPY Copper (1000CD). Can't get any better than that.
What leads me to my bug conclusion is that, today, I went on-line to check my stores, still baffled by the whole situation around the Crafting Station build. Decided to take a few moments out to set up the same conditions I have followed for four years when preparing to craft a particular item. Nothing different, all second nature. In my first attempt to craft a (+15) station, I was SUCCESSFUL. Had (2) experimentation points left over. There was one thing different, I observed, during the experimentation process (I always use one point at a time when crafting complex items): the ascending red bar in the Risk column. This red bar was absent during those prior fruitless endeavors.
So just by that action alone, the appearance (or non-appearance) of the red bar in the Risk column, to me, constitutes a bug in the crafting process. Why would it appear one day, and not another day, during the crafting station assembly process, under tried and true conditions? Apparently, its appearance made the difference in the end. As I mentioned before, this is of late, so the simplest explanation would point to some recent change within the system.
Nonetheless, I am glad that is over, for the meantime.
My best to the Crew.
