Vendor Search Option

Bazaars really need these. Something that was added later on in the game, but probably should have been there from day one. Not only is it good for the consumers and vendors, but it will be a great help to the overall economy of the server.

I could be wrong, but I believe he's referring to a text box type of search so that I could search for "blue rug", for example.

That and the filter options that were in live shortly before shutdown (if my memory serves me correctly). That was one of the best things they added in NGE, other than PvP Bounty Hunting! LOL!

Yeah, I loved the search and filter options they added in later. You could search for say...a Starship engine with a certain speed rating, in between 1000-15000 credits etc. Made finding what you wanted sooooo much easier

id love to see it too, hope the code can be found cause iirc it took hanse a solid 4-5 months to build the revised search, though that time may have been spent as a side project i really cant remember

Name on materials and the likes would be nice as well and the ability to sort between steel iron fiberplast etc... would be a nice touch as well.

Would love to see the Bazaar sorts so that it sorts the whole list and you scroll thru it in stead of only sorting the 100(max) items you may be looking at, and then you have to page to next 200, and resort to find only the particular resource, or specific type of pistol/polearm, etc. Anything that would let you do some real comparison shopping without the need of a pad and pencil nearby to take notes when a true sort would have the half dozen items you have narrowed it down to right there in front of you...

I would also like it, provided it is possible and not a major time sink for our SWG:A devs, to remove the categories that were never utilized by SWG. Searching could be implemented on varying degrees, but if we were limited to only being presented with active categories and better fleshed out subcategories, it would be an enormous help. Crafting is on a major upswing now, and weeding through the various entries is growing more time consuming by the day.

I'd love to also see the search feature. Not just for just the bazaar, but for all registered/listed vendors.
