Buying Faction Points question

Through the Underworld tree, Smugglers should be able to buy and sell faction points. I just tried this on Ateth and I'm not getting the option to buy or sell faction points. I've tried it as combatant and as special forces, neither of which gives me the option. Is this function of smuggler not implemented yet?

The conversation to "buy" faction points doesn't actually include the words sale or buy - instead you make a "donation" to the cause.

Thanks! Dunno why that option wasn't showing up for me. I was at the Bestine recruiter out front the starport and I wasn't getting the option to make a donation to the cause. This time around I went to Theed and it worked there.

I have been trying this for the last hour and no donation under conversation for me I went to Best. and Theed neither worked.... Would love to know if its in game or not

You need to be Special Forces to buy faction. And the money needs to be in your Cash. There's a 20k or 100k option, and it'll be like 'I want to make a donation to the cause' option

Some people had issues getting the "I'd like to donate to your personal cause" option. Is this information accurate or helpful to why some people didn't have the option?
At Underworld IV you get Connections which lets you Buy Faction. There are however several limitations to this ability:

You cannot buy any faction if your enemy faction is over 200, "You are a known (insert enemy) sympathizer..."
You cannot buy faction if your current total in that faction is >500.
You cannot buy faction from an opposing recruiter if you're declared. (declared includes Coverts)

Does the 20k option buy you 250 FP and the 100k option buy you 1250 FP?
If your faction has the advantage on the planet, do you get a 10% on top of that?
