Survey Tools... bugged?

I created an Artisan and went to use my survey tool. It says to select a range, but the range screen is blank. Nothing to choose from. I searched the forums but found no mention of this issue. Maybe it's just my new toon, but any suggestions or advice?

I'm not certain. The same thing happens to me every so often but, generally logging out and logging back in fixed it for me.

Tried multiple methods that were suggested, none worked. In the end, I walked over to an Artisan trainer and was surprised when he offered to train me Novice Artisan... Not sure why my Artisan "lost" his skills and needed a retrain, but I have since been able to craft as normal.

You make them, Shawnious. You have to radial them to set the tool survey range. It will not automatically increase either. You have to set it to the highest based off of your survey skill

Noob question. There are no survey tools or resources on the bazaar. How do you make them needing metal when you cant get medal since you font have the survey tool. Am I missing something.

You get a set of tools if you pick artisan at the character creation stage, also, not many use the bazaar to list items (since not many use NPC cities and there is a price cap), instead try using the vendor search/location function of the bazaar. Alternatively ask in general and I am sure someone will either point you to some or make some for you.

If my mind serves me correct you get a mineral survey tool if you create a artisan.
