Merchant skill block question

OK lets say I have a toon i am leveling to be a dual master crafting, with left over into merchant. So i level up some merchant blocks while I am taking my sweet time with the grind. Later I find out I have to drop some merchant blocks. What happens to my vendors that i have dressed and or over the max number of vendors? Are they disabled or deleted by the system? Kind of like you get buffed put on the comp armor and when the buff runs out its not unequipped. Thanks

its been a few years but iirc once you put an item on a vendor it cannot be retrieved and is part of the vendor's look, if you drop the skill set you wont be able to change the look again untill you gain the block back but the vendors look should remain as you have set it up

ok thanks that is kinda what i was looking for. what if you have skill for 8 vendors and drop a block to skill for only 6 what might happen in that case, I'm just pulling numbers out of the sky for illustration.

Test server should be up now. Give it a try there first to test it or make sure your vendors are empty if you do it on Live.
