Vendor disappearance?

I had a vendor disappear due to lack of activity. The vendor was only a couple of weeks old and had been active until a couple of days ago. What is the inactive time period? And why is no warning given prior to the deletion of said vendor? Anyone know anything about this?

your in game mail should be spammed with warnings if it popped from no maintenance

Ya maintenance was paid, the only mail I got specifically said "lack of activity" which given the time frame baffles me.
