Race
Im my opinion the best race for Rifleman is by far Mon Calamari becouse of the huge mind stats and rifleman being the single most mind heavy profession. Some argue that Zabrak is better becouse of the "oh shit" button that comes with it (the equilibrium), but in my opinion it does not work too well and has a long cooldown.
Training Equipment
Weapons (all speed sliced)
Novice -> 3xxx Marksman: CDEF or DLT20 rifle. (if you have the money to spend you can get a speed sliced krayt dlt20 and skip the spraystick)
3xxx Marksman -> 3xx2 Rifleman: Spraystick (super fast enough said)
3xx2 Rifleman -> Master: speed sliced T21 (shitloads of damage that compensates the low speed)
Foods
Citros snow cake: Accuracy +30ish (Tuckers vendor has em in Avalon Prime, Naboo)
Brandy: 400 or so mind stats (Tuckers vendor has em in Avalon Prime, Naboo)
Dodge food (not a necessity but helps with armor decay)
Powerups
atleast 31% speed powerups for your weapons.
Armor
Ubese armor should be enough with around 65% kin resist. (Watch out for those jawas tho, they have ranged weapons) - My vendor in Avalon Prime, Naboo has sets with 72% kinetic and they are affordable.
The grind
Novice marksman -> Novice Rifleman / Mindhit1+Headshot1,2
First I killed the lil mobs north of theed starport after you get headshot2 you might want to head to tatooine and kill the NPCS in Mos Entha or jawa traders at the POI (a bit of a treck but well worth it), you will get lootkit parts while doing it so make sure you take a wearable container with you.
Tactic: Use mindhit1 for 3-4 times at the beginning, the dmg stacks. then just span headshot1,2 you might also want to be kneeling for better accuracy.
Novice Rifleman -> Master / Mindhit1, Mindhit2, headshot 2-3
You have a few options here, if you are just starting out you should start doing missions I preferred Falumpasets (solo group) becouse they dont have pack instinct and you can snipe them one by one. If you have credits and just need to grind Narglatch cave aint bad, it has a fast respawn rate and you get about 3k xp per kill. Remember that mind bleeds stack and each shot should be done atleast 2 times at the beginning ofcource if the opponent goes down in 2 hits theres no point since the bleed does not have time to tick.
Also if you have combat xp banked you can use Flurry 2 which comes from xxx3 rifleman which is cone area attack, works wonders.

Master Rifleman equipment
Droids
2-3 storage droids for armor and foods. (My vendor has them for 20k a pop in the Avalon Prime Mall on Naboo)
Weapons
T21 [480+ max dmg], your main weapon, has heavy armor piercing and most damage of all rifles.
Jawa Ion [300+ max dmg], your PvP weapon and some opponents are vulnerable to stun.
DXR-6 [350+ max damage], acid damage type good in DWB and juvenile krayt dragons.
Remember, these numbers are the minimums theres alot better weapons out there.
Armor
You will need two or three sets
1. PvE armor 80%kin/60+ base
2. PvE stun armor 23% stun/80%kin/54+ base (never ever go to geo cave without this)
3. PvP suit 39% stun/70+ base
hint: invest heavily on a good helmet, its your lifeline, anyone can heal health and action but only combat medic can heal mind.
Also do not forget about the PSG, an imperial version of the PSG costs alot more but it also has almost 3 times more condition.
Tapes
1. +7 Rifle speed, this is the top priority will enable you to shoot the T21 once a second since you already get 90 speed from master rifleman or 95 if you have master marksman.
2. Rifle accuracy, the more times you hit the more damage you do capped at +185
3. Rifle accuracy while moving, self explanitory
4. Block, rifleman defence
I never personally put any melee defence or state defence tapes in if you dont have a melee class with something to build on top of.
Food/Drink
1. Brandy [400+] (Mind, mind, mind)
2. Synthsteak [40+] (yeah, you take shitloads of damage)
3. Exo-protein wafer [20+] (low filling mini synthsteak, use if stomach full)
4. Thakitillo [90+] (Knockdown defence food, a must in pvp)
4. Bluemilk (will not use alot but might save your life at times, heals mind)
Why no dodge food? Well simple reason that you need room in your tummy for thakitillo for pvp, in pve you can use dodge food but to be honest it doesnt do much against bigger opponents and i prefer keeping room for a second thakitillo once the first one wears out and then rely on wafers to get me through to next available synth.
Powerups
Go for Max DMG/Min Damage/Max Range powerups. (usually its a muzzle type)

Drakathos did we have a run in at new destiny the other week? You imp now...Marbay here.
For rifle power ups, why not speed? When I run a dips calculator speed seems to come out ahead. Same for dumb vs speed sliced rifles. Speed also allows more shots on target if you want to push states.
PS need to put a jaw a on me for when I plink a TEF'er! :p

Regarding the power up question, you get AAs/CAs to cap your speed so there's no need for it on PUPsMahtey wrote:Drakathos did we have a run in at new destiny the other week? You imp now...Marbay here.
