I remember back in the day, I became force sensitive during The Village.

It was a very early morning, and I had finished The Village and the tasks, around 2am while I was standing at a shuttle port, I turned around (my camera was zoomed in really close) and there he was...the old man!

Took a break, and unfortunately, when I came back the NGE had been implemented.

What is your story?

Also, anyone have experience with unlocking during any Beta testing?

After completing the Imperial Theme Park I became FS, some time in early 2005. On Intrepid there was a city near Fort Tusken called Mos Tuskia. That is where I got the visit from the old man.

I remember it was about midnight and I was on my 21st profession (Rifleman). I asked in planet chat if anyone could teach me and a nice guy met me somewhere to teach the last bit of rifleman. Got the message and stayed up long enough to make my jedi and craft my first lightsaber! Quite a thrill. This was during the hologrind time, pre-publish 9 around April 2004 IIRC.

My visit from the old man came while grinding on Dant with friends. I was the TKM tank and we had just cleared a mission when I saw the talk bubble. I couldn't see the old man because he was standing in the middle of a pile of dead animals that hadn't been harvested yet. I almost missed him in the confusion lol. I still remember the excitement....good times, good times.

When you're force sensitive are you available for missions on the BH term or is it when you 'graduate' to Jedi? This wasn't worth a new thread since I reckon I'm in a minority by not knowing :)

Not until you graduate to Jedi. At that point, I'm not sure when you qualify for gaining visibility, but I would assume it's immediately.

officially you start gaining visibility when you are a padawan. Once the village is introduced, that still holds true. you wont start gaining visibility until after the padawan trials.

I was out doing missions with some friends. Pistoleer was the profession that got me the visit. I almost missed the old man. One of the group asked in group chat if anyone was expecting a visit. I didn't think I was, but went and tried to talk anyway.

I started playing at launch. I popped my Jedi 7 months in sometime in late January 2004. It was during the perma-death era so i didn’t play a lot for the first 4 or 5 months.

When I unlocked there were only 4 other unlocks on my server so I had to be very careful. Bounty hunters were insane back then.
