Welcome! And I agree 100%. We need to work on a set place and time and reach out to folks who may not use this forum. I am pretty new here, and I had hopes there would be a RP hot spot. I have yet to find one, so we should make one!

Hi I don't have a lot of experience with this game particularly but a ton of time in Star Wars lore and roleplay in general, in game I'm Josada Aldamas (A Rodian Smuggler) can't wait to get the ball rolling with you guys. I also have a friend that plays a Bothan Merchant who would most likely be interested as well.

First time back in a long time and along with craving SWG, I've been craving some good ol' RP. So count me in! I have no idea what the community is like in general, but I'll definitely be plunking around on Tatooine with a character. I'm thinking maybe a drunken, disgraced physician who's taking any kind of work he can get.

I'd really like to get involved with some of this, but I'm just starting out in Awakening and getting my bearings with these mechanics. I'm maining as an Artisan so it's a bit of a rough start and as we speak I'm currently maxing out my Surveying while I begin to travel down the path figuring out what I want to make and manufacture.

In perhaps a vain effort I am going to attempt to resurrect this thread

I am old Starsider vet myself and I remember the days of the duels, both dice rolling and the actual skill based battles in the streets. Those were the good ole days for sure.

I remember my Smuggler character was also an entertainer with image designer so I could change my looks and act as a spy. I would collect info, sell info, supply slicing services and of course supply the oh so important neutron pixies for all the junkies out there. I just wish I could have adjusted the quality on those things like a true artisan could with their builds.

If any sort of RP like this still goes on I would love to add my character and any future character to it. No matter how much I try to just game SWG...I always end up biting the proverbial RP bait and get into it...even if its just to watch.
