Crafting a crafting apron question

I am having trouble with the crafter's apron schematic. Sometimes the resource i place in show and others times not, but every time i try to assemble it tells me its not complete and I don't now why. It requires and food and chem crafting tool which i placed in as well but that never displays but when i try to place another it tells me its there. I'm at a loss

They are picky little things! You need to drag and drop resources etc instead of double click. Also, the crafting tools have to come directly from a factory crate of them.

Thanks... Cooking up some crafting tools as we speak. Now to look up how you get the bonuses

The bonuses appear after you craft them. You won't know what you get until then....food and chem tool could mean chef or it could mean med...etc.

Wanted to say THANKS! for this post. I had the same problem stated with my crafter's apron schematic (back in 2015) and received no response to my post or to my subsequent ticket. Today, I was finally able to use the schematic based on the info you provided. It showed up on a google search. That tip on the tool having to be from a crate (as opposed to a prototype) and sliding the resources into the slots did the trick for me.

Glad the information helped I was lucky enough to finally get an answer in game when I was having the same questions.

Csometimes the 'special' ingredients ie food and med crafting tool has to be from a factory crate. I have seen some on Turin's vendor at 'Nude Destiny' (New Destiny, Corellia). Those are the ones I use.
