I need Mod help

I am trying to install several mods (one at a time). So far I have gotten no results. I downloaded 7-zip to start. Then I extracted the files into C:\Program Files (x86)\SWGAwakening\texture. I tried leaving the files in the folders that they were extracted in. I tried pulling all of the files out of the folders and into \textures. I tried several of them. I started with the Shadowfox Login Text Boxes Mod to no effect. I also tried the SWGEmu NGE GUI Mod 3.4 application to install it into the same folder. Then I tried installing it into the default C:\Program Files (x86)\StarWarsGalaxies folder. No effect.

What am I doing wrong here?

First, I would go to my site and follow Larce's guide. However, keep in mind that I stated clearly on my site not to install any mods until Larce is done with his guide, and we've done the re-oragnization. Many of the mods listed in the downloads section are purely for reference and broken. My advice is to be patient until May 15th when I release my next UI compilation. Keep in mind MTG is not going to give you support for my mods specifically, only general modding support since everything is installed the same way. All of the mods are for the most part installed the exact same way across multiple private servers. Some of the mods up for download right now are not saved with the correct folder information either. I'd like to help but right now I am focused entirely on finishing up the re-organization, giving proper credit, making things server specific and having it done. Some time in the next month I'll be opening the site for posting and we will be able to troubleshoot with you directly anything we offer for download. Now, if you can wait, you'll be happy to know I'm making an installer to cut out 99% of the hassle. ;D It'll be easier to update in the future when things like the swoop to barc breaks.


Now to your question: Look for awakening.exe in that folder is where you will install everything - folders with names like ui, texture etc. My login text boxes mod is an edit of the NGE update mod. It should be one file in the ui folder and one file in the texture folder.
