Can a Rebel or Imperial BH hunt his own faction? Any advantages or disadvantages?

Absolutely.

Advantage = Getting paid
Disadvantage = Some people frown on this.

Currently overt jedi can be healed by a factionally aligned medic, which will TEF the medic. An opposing faction BH can choose to engage (or not) to discourage further heals. A neutral or same-faction BH does not have this option.

There are no server rules about which faction a BH can engage. If you can take the mission, you can fight the jedi within the BH/jedi mechanic.

Can a neutral or SFH bring his own healer with the same no-TEF advantage?

As of this writing, per design a BH may not be healed at all. This may change at a later date, or not, as we continually evaluate Jedi/BH.
