Unfortunately the thread was locked before I could respond. Which is fair enough we we're pretty off topic :)

This is inaccurate.
I would like to get some help to address this.

I've brought up MBH Traps not being affected by combat states before and have never been told that they were, nor is it mentioned in any of the patch notes (that I can see). From my testing as well, I did not see any difference between being blinded and throwing a trap versus being untouched. My attempts at this were done against a MLS/MDEF Jedi. Nor have I noticed any difference in my fights against MBH/Trap spec'd BH, as said Jedi.

Unfortunately i've gone back to a Pistols spec and can no longer test this on my own. So i'm looking for someone that can help verify the above and get some more information if this needs to be written up as a bug. I'll actually have a weekend off for once, so send me a PM or if a /tell if you can help - all you need to do is set a macro to throw 1000 traps and i'll do the rest :).

I'd be interested in these results as well. I removed that portion of my comment because while I recall a roll in the code, I did not look it up specifically before posting. And of course, even if it is coded/scripted doesn't mean it is working 100%.

Please make sure to post template information including skillmods via clothing, a PM is fine if you prefer to not advertise any of that info.

I will see if I can find some people to help out as well if I can. I am very interested in this as well as the suspected trap cool down work around that I believe I witnessed. I think the cool down applies to the BHs game client not the Jedis game client, or at least it seemed to. One BH threw a trap and when it expired and his traps were on cool down the other BH was able to deploy a trap of his own rinse and repeat until the defenseless Jedi was dead. The effect on the Jedi was instead of Trap, cool down, Trap, cool down it went, BH A's trap, BH B's trap, BH A's trap, BH B's trap with no cool down and 100% up time. It would be great to recreate this issue and report it so that it can be fixed and traps can work as intended. They are powerful enough with out them being exploited. We must be careful who we get to test also because the ones that are using this tactic are not going to simply demonstrate it so that the exploit can be fixed.

I suspect what you are seeing is not accurate. We hunted Maturin at the event and Terrance can attest I was hollering in TS about how he was trapped but still force running. In the end, it was just what I saw on my side. It wasn't accurate. We tested the trap cooldown pretty extensively when it was patched. If it's no longer working as intended, it would have been with a subsequent patch I would think.

I did not experience this issue with traps with another bh tonight. Wife willing, I'll try again tomorrow.
