Pistols speed cap ?

Can anyone tell me what the speed cap is for pistols ? (Assuming anyone actually comes to this Pistoleer forum !)

It all depends on the speed. There is a specific exponential calculation for speed cap, that applies to ALL weapons. Each weapon has a speed, then is multiplied by the special attack you are making, and adjusted for that with the speed you have for your skill. At 95 speed, a 7 second rifle attacks at 1 second, regardless of attack type. So, with a 3 second or less pistol, you are looking at somewhere around 75-80ish for cap. There used to be a site that you could punch in weapon type, speed, and attack and it would tell you.

These numbers are just estimates. This is how it works. If you go pistoleer, you will be speed capped from that profession alone. So, that is a speed of 74 without mods. I hope this helps a bit.
