Fast Blast vs Body Shot 3 ?

Ok, noob BH question.

I just reached MBH and I'm also Master Pistoleer.

I've only done a few missions so far (all PvE missions), since reaching MBH, so I can't say my "testing" has been very in-depth, but the impression I get at the moment is that there is very little difference in damage between Fast Blast and Body Shot 3.

Have I missed something? Can anyone put me straight on this ?

If you want the player jedi to deflect the majority of your shots then keep using bodyshot 3

Thanks for your post, but I'm talking about PvE missions, not player jedi. Sorry, I thought that was clear from my original post.

So for PVE, what is the damage difference between Fast Blast and Body Shot 3 ?

As you've found, the damage modifiers are very similar. Fast blast will hit both health and action, whereas body shot hits health only. For PvE, that isn't terribly valuable, so it is pretty much a wash.

Also fast blast and spray shot also work with other guns.... llc carbine flamers etc.

I never remembered Fast blast being anything but a pistol shot. I have been reading the forums about how FB works with other weapons. My question is, was this an intentional change on this server? When you are doing some calculations on http://www.swgcalc.x10.mx/ It clearly puts the FB in a pistols only availability. I am not taking this as gospel, but it does confirm my memories of FB from live.

It was only pistols on live, it's everything here intentionally (for better or for worse)

Got it. I only noticed it because I was looking at DPS numbers for an LLC with FB and it is just SO OP.
