Is there a half-way decent source for looting locked container for slicing purposes?

Meatlumps.
Set up a second toon afk to farm them while you go about your business on your main. Assuming you're not in a big rush you can collect enough containers to grind the first box in a few days.

And I wasn't sure how to search the bazaar to find them on vendors.

For Locked Containers on Bazaar, click.. Vendor Location > Entire Galaxy > Misc > Generic Item

Other options is to slice magseals on Rori.
Cobral Hideout (POI) (5 or 6 magseals)
Kobola Spice Mines (POI) (9 magseals)
Garyn Raider Bunker (POI) (6 magseals)

Remember to empty the magseals or they won't reset

I was on the bazaar in corellia last night and did that very thing, but nothing showed up. However, a buddy IG sent me a vendor in Lok that had them for sale. Wondering why it didn't show...and yes, I had entire galaxy clicked.

For Locked Containers on Bazaar, click.. Vendor Location > Entire Galaxy > Misc > Generic Item

Make sure you click "Vendor Location" before clicking Entire Galaxy.

The tabs on top, you can choose,bazaar,my bids,available items,the last one should be vendor locations.

Click that and works same as bazaar apart from when you see something you want you click get wp and have to go to the shop the wp sends to purchase.
