Suggestions for someone who is looking into the class. What should I pair with B.H. for best results?

Do you all usually go for the crazy bounty hunter Mando armor grind to gear up vs jedi?

Should one who goes B.H. pick a specific build/template?

Your choices are a little limited just like jedi templatewise,your only viable option and thats if you attempt to solo padawans etc is MBH,what you add after that is your call but defenses and mitigation are a good idea.
However if you fancy being part of a team then any invest 3 template that you think would work well.

Easier to grind a jedi out then aquire mando on this server (it takes a lot of work but is worth it)

What Guilds are active in the B.H. community?

Faction will get you killed quicker than you snapping your fingers,use it as a tool to complete a job and leave it at that as the penalties heavily outweigh the incredibly small gain,neutral is best.
There are several "top tier" BHs on this server and there is also a guild called BH.

The question to ask is why are you playing BH?

Is it for PVE farming? Play what you prefer. All of these missions can be farmed with any elite profession combination to varying degrees of success.
Is it to make money and kill Jedi? If so go MBH/Scout44xx. This is pretty much the easiest template here to kill a Jedi with, especially if you hunt in a group.
Is it for a challenge and fun pvp? Play any other BH template. This will be very difficult against fully or even 75% templated Jedi, unless you have great weapons. Far more fun (win or lose) IMO.


Also you can absolutely solo grind for Mando if you want it. Make two Pikemans, a stacker and a Doctor. You can also do this with a Commando to drop SBDs faster, however the mobs on this server have been beefed up and as someone who has previously spent time trying (unsuccessfully) to get liquids, I highly recommend doing it slower with a Doctor/Stacker combo. You want the fire/bleed cures when you're farming Wraiths.
The issue will be RNG - PLC and BL (1 each per piece of Mando), have a 1% drop rate. Then you have BH armor which requires you to find random Black Sun mobs and they have a poor drop rate as well.

I always pick goals that are almost unreachable. This makes the game last longer and be more enjoyable for me.

I'll probably go for mando armor at some point. I am looking for PVP specifically. (Thanks for the hint about staying neutral).

Trapper is the way to go huh. Well I'll be sure to check it out.
