Best pistol to grind/level Marksman

So I'm working up marksman pistol line to eventually do master marks to get to BH. Was wondering about the right pistol for leveling or if it matters that much for marksman. Right now I have a D18 pistol and seems to be just fine...didn't know if it's worth switching to another pistol since I can pull from a few different ones. Thanks for any information! It's been a while since LIVE. :)

you should switch to a pub blaster.

For marksman, D18 and DH17. You can find pretty cheap enhanced ones also where the speed is < 1. Then use a Republic Blaster when you get novice pistoleer or scatter pistol when you get novice BH.
