What limitations are you speaking of? Things have/are changing around here and we want people to post freely as long as they are compliant with the rules there shouldn't be a problem.shadowfox wrote:Edit: Nevermind. I forgot about the limitations placed on people when posting in this forum. I can see what the issue was. Thank you for crediting everyone.

Well... I was going to sort of nitpick on this post for copy paste shenanigans from my site. Not giving full proper credit on a few things and so on. He did give everyone credit at the bottom, just not full crediting for each mod, and few other things. Just being nitpicky on my end to make sure I and other mod authors are covered. However, once I got into the process of doing so, I saw why he did what he did. Due to the limitations in his/her posting rights, he cant post more then 4 images or more then 10 links in a single post. In this case it's what would be required to give full credit to everything above. So I'm not going to bother him for that when the forum software is holding him back. So like I saidCynar wrote:What limitations are you speaking of? It's one of the main reasons Larce moved his guide to my site. Direct post limitations. It's also why I quit doing descriptive posts for my compilation or anything I host, here specifically, direct post limitations.I forgot about the limitations placed on people when posting in this forum. I can see what the issue was. Thank you for crediting everyone.
It's not a good or bad thing. I am meh about it either way, it's your forum, your rules etc. It's just a limitation when posting. If he gave the full copy paste, and credit, with links and images he'd have to make about 4 posts. While an annoyance, like I said, I understand. So there's no issue with me. Nor do i have an issue with him. He credited the best way he could.

Gotcha, we are planning a forum overhaul and redesign very soon. I'm hoping that will help. One of our staff is working on that now. After 2 year things have become a bit stale and a tad restrictive for certain features we'd like to implement.

Oh yeah I understand completely. VB can be a pain in the butt and post permissions are easy to manipulate but sometimes the permissions get weird so I totally understand. Like I said not his or anyones fault at all. He did the best he did so kudos to him

Right? I've always been way too lazy to run around and collect all of this a bit at a time. But finding this post after joining the game and running with them, I can't imagine going back. Huge shout out to Shrimply for breaking it down for simpleton's like me.SithMasterWHO wrote:My jaw dropped open and a little bit of drool started pooling while I was reading the op
And of course for everyone who put work into making these mods including Shadowfox, bla212, sytner, kayliaah, eqsanctum, proxima, and anyone else I missed.
P.S. Dantooine looks so much better, but the real gem for me is the accurate satellite maps...definitely my favorite piece of this mod.

EDIT:::: Wasn't running in administrator mode, had to give my user full permissions. problem fixed. It's been way to long since I've been messing around with files.
I am having a bit of an issue.
All of the texture files that I try to extract come back with an error that says...
! C:\Users\Ale\Downloads\Shrimply's Schwifty Compilation Modpack v2.0.zip: Cannot create bth_b_teeth.dds
Access is denied.
This happens for every single file that is suppose to go into that folder.
Any Ideas?
