Some Build Questions

Greetings fellow scourge,

I've been toying with some build ideas and was hoping for some input from others who may have gone down these paths before. As I'm new to the server, I've been doing some reading on the forums and found that certain things have been tweaked so I'm not sure which way to go.

Build 1
MBH
M Pistoleer
Scout 44xx

Build 2
BH 4xxx
Pistoleer xx4x
TKM
Scout 44xx

In either case I like to be up close and personal either with the pistol or knuckles. I am just not sure which is more viable for PvP. I've seen that Master BH is now improved, but how much better is it?

I dont think you can use traps unless you have both 44xx scout and MBH, so your build 2 might have some extra points available. Maybe pistols xx44 for the added 40 mdef? Or novice medic?

Ah so I'm guessing you mean that traps cannot be used against players unless you are also a Master Bounty Hunter, good to know.

Im fairly certain, also, only a mbh with a jedi mission can use a trap against that jedi, and only that jedi. Traps cant be used for random pvping.

(Unless this was changed recently, i honestly havent tried. Maybe a more veteran BH will weigh in)

Correct prior to pub 8 (who knows if its changed) one of the reasons not to pick a faction if your toys get taken away from you,traps work on the mission and mission only,you must be MBH and you must have the trap line in scout.
